Mazen Dajani was born in Jordan in 1965. He attended schools in Jordan and earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Mazen’s career spanned 24 years in the shipping business and an additional 12 years in renewable energy. He is currently working as a consultant on a renewable energy project in Greece. Mazen has served as a board member at OFFTEC Holding Group for the last 12 years. His other publications include Hijacked for 10 Months: The True Story of the Blida (January 2025) and My Book of Stories: A Memoir (December 2025). He lives in Amman with his two sons, Faris and Zaid.
